With the new BreathTech System, the first level of foam attached to the surface fabric has innovative “perforations”, which look like “slits”. What happens next?
When an athlete is pedaling, the foam in the pad stretches as it accompanies body movement. With this movement, the slits cut into the padding open and close, pumping moisture away from the body, working like the “Gills of a Fish”. At the same time, ventilation is increased in the opposite direction (the “gill effect” enhances quick-drying by up to 30%).
